Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of drinks and food
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and food to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine pairings, and spirits with precision and flair
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Manage cash handling procedures accurately during sales transactions and process payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or upscale bars
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food industry tools like OpenTable for reservations or guest management is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude that energizes team interactions

Pay: $3.15 - $5.00 per hour
