Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression during late-night hours
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying reservations and processing payments accurately using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive problem-solving to ensure satisfaction
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, incidentals, and billing adjustments
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety checks of the property, and controlling access points
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or guest concerns, coordinating with relevant departments as needed
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing information about hotel amenities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably in a resort or similar setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of night audit procedures, hotel management systems, and guest relations best practices
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high levels of professionalism and attentiveness
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including guest services, front desk operations, and security protocols
- Previous hotel experience is preferred; a background in hospitality management is advantageous
