Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will support the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of our property, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of housekeeping operations, supervise staff, and uphold safety and sanitation regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding service while managing daily custodial and cleaning responsibilities.

Duties

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across all departments, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.
• Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Coordinate staff schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties.
• Maintain strict adherence to sanitation and safety regulations, including industrial cleaning standards and infection control protocols.
• Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards are met consistently throughout the property.
• Promote a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and training initiatives that foster professional growth.

Experience

• Proven experience in custodial work or housekeeping management within a hospitality or commercial setting.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities in cleaning or janitorial services.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial and commercial cleaning practices.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, safety regulations, and management of cleaning & sanitation processes.
• Experience with laundry operations and hospitality industry standards is preferred.
• Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Prior leadership roles involving team supervision and management are highly desirable for success in this position.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.50 per hour
