Work in the untamed arctic, surrounded by mind-blowing landscapes and an exclusive climate that only a few can handle. If you're a thrill-seeker who loves a tough challenge, this is your personal playground.

Free Wi-Fi and Smart TVs are coming soon, so you can relax after your shift. Plus, snag discounts at Brooks Range Supply and get all the mandatory PPE gear you need to stay safe on the job.
  • Additional Benefits: Access to pre-tax and Roth contributions after 90 days with a generous employer match. Plus, a company profit sharing plan.

  • Fast-Paced, High-Energy Work: Every shift brings a new challenge, and you'll need to stay agile and adaptable. But that's what makes it exciting, right? If you're ready to bring your A-game every day, you're going to fit right in.

As a Solid Waste Processor, You Will:

  • Safety First, always: In this role, safety is non-negotiable. You'll work with heavy equipment, and solid waste materials to process dumpsters. Your job is to keep yourself and your team safe while handling all aspects of waste management.
  • Waste Processing Like a Pro: Sort and process waste materials — everything from food waste to construction debris. You'll make sure everything is disposed of properly, in line with environmental standards.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Including compact trucks, loaders, mini excavator, zoom boom, and dumpsters, you'll be running the show. Daily equipment inspection and troubleshooting are also part of the job.
  • Night Shift Mastery: This job's all about night shifts. You'll handle waste operations during non-daylight hours, ensuring everything gets processed quickly, safely, and without fail to prepare operations for the next day.
  • Documentation & Compliance: You'll keep thorough, accurate records of waste disposal activities, and track waste quantities to stay fully compliant with environmental regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in waste management or environmental services is a major plus — but if you've got a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.
  • Certifications: A valid driver's license is a must. If you have certifications in hazardous materials handling, waste processing, or safety, even better.
  • Skills: You'll need to operate heavy machinery, pay attention to the smallest details, and work effectively with a diverse, high-energy team.
  • Additional Traits: You're not afraid to work long hours in extreme cold, lift heavy objects, and stay laser-focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Previous OSHA experience is a plus but not required.
