Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Representative role based in Murfreesboro, TN. The Area Sales Representative will develop and manage relationships with employers, benefits brokers, and key decision-makers to promote Colonial Life’s workplace benefits solutions. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting in-person meetings and presentations, and guiding clients through the benefits enrollment process. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to support implementation, enrollment, and ongoing service, while maintaining accurate records of sales activities and pipeline updates. The Area Sales Representative will also monitor market trends, attend local networking and community events, and consistently work toward achieving and exceeding sales targets in the assigned territory.

- Proven sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing new business.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in insurance, employee benefits, or B2B sales is strongly preferred; applicable licenses (or ability to obtain) may be required by state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Central Middle TN area for client visits and events.
Pay - $60,000-$135,000 (1099 and Non Captive and No Cap)
