Position Summary
Our Client is seeking a SharePoint Systems Administrator to join their team! This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting business applications and reports used across the organization. The role focuses heavily on SharePoint development and administration, as well as integration with tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft technologies.
This is a contract role, working primarily remote with Wisconsin residence required, some travel to Madison WI.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate existing systems and business processes across DOC divisions and institutions.
Collect and document business and system requirements.
Design workflows, applications, and reports using SharePoint, Power Platform, and other tools.
Participate in DevOps process improvements and system architecture planning.
Provide estimates, recommendations, and project documentation for new systems and enhancements.
Develop and configure applications using SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate, .NET, and SQL.
Design user interfaces and implement business logic.
Conduct unit and integration testing; support production rollouts.
Maintain existing systems and enhance functionality based on business needs.
Provide technical support and user training as needed.
Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and system guides.
Assist with troubleshooting and end-user inquiries.
Contribute to team meetings, project updates, and status reporting.
Participate in professional development activities and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
4–6 Years with the following:
Experience conducting system analysis and configuring third-party software.
Proven ability to gather user/business requirements and translate into technical specifications.
Experience with data modeling and software testing.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint administration (permissions, lists, workflows, site creation).
Technical Knowledge
Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate.
SharePoint Designer, Microsoft InfoPath, Microsoft Access.
Programming: TypeScript, .NET, SQL.
Familiarity with Ivanti ITSM, Visual Studio, REST APIs, DevOps, and low-code/no-code platforms.
Relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle).
Microsoft 365 tools and integration.
