Software Engineer, Intern (Wisconsin based)

Seeking highly motivated Computer Science and Software Engineering Interns who are interested in developing software for industry-leading healthcare solutions company. Responsibilities include developing the next generation software and will be working on a team using state-of-the-art “compute” and software platforms. Software Engineering Intern - starting September 2025.

Periodic onsite required in Waukesha, WI - Wisconsin residents given priority

In this role you will:

• Participate in developing and testing reconstruction software, utilizing the latest high-performance computing hardware (GPGPU/multicore CPU) and software technologies
• Experiment with emerging high-performance computing technologies to optimize CT algorithm performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate CT image reconstruction algorithms into product software
  
  

Requirements:

• Entering Junior or Senior Year in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or related fields
• Experience with C and exposure to Linux. GPU processing (for ex. CUDA is a plus)
• Familiarity with OOP and design patterns,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• GPA > 3.4
  
  

Desired qualifications:

• Familiarity with GPU technologies. CUDA and/or OpenCL
• Familiarity with Bash, Python and/or Linux shell scripting
• Strong math background
