Coda Search is partnering with a leading hedge fund on a search for a Product Development Specialist. This person will bridge the gap between investor relations and product innovation. This role requires deep understanding of investor needs and a forward-thinking approach to identify opportunities for new product offerings and enhancements to existing products.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze investor feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new product offerings.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Research, and Marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with firm strategy and investor expectations.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of new and existing products to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Assist the broader investor relations team in addressing client queries, especially those relating to new products or strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth launch and rollout of new investment products.
- Create mechanisms to continually gather investor feedback and iterate on product offerings.
- Understand and ensure that all product developments align with regulatory guidelines and requirements.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of product-related materials including pitch books, fact sheets, and other investor communications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure the fund remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, product development, or a similar role, preferably within the hedge fund or asset management sector.
- Robust understanding of financial markets and hedge fund products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
