Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Coordinate reservations, cancellations, and modifications while maintaining up-to-date records.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to promote a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests swiftly.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest services, safety, and security.
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations, and hospitality best practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role.
