Duties
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of construction machinery such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support paving operations by preparing surfaces, setting screeds, and performing tasks to achieve precise results.
- Conduct safety checks on equipment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on-site.
- Drive commercial trucks for transporting materials or equipment between sites, maintaining proper licensing and safety procedures.
- Support site cleanup, material handling, and logistical coordination to keep projects on schedule.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites within civil infrastructure projects or similar environments.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, loaders, screeds, and concrete mixers.
- Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating commercial vehicles such as dump trucks or flatbeds preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
