Your Role:

The Business Systems Integration Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations across Coastal Waste & Recycling’s enterprise applications — including Workday, Salesforce, NICE CXOne, TRUX, SnowFlake, and other corporate systems. This role ensures that data flows securely, accurately, and efficiently between platforms to support key business processes, analytics, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines technical integration expertise with a strong understanding of business processes across HR, Finance, and Operations.

• Designs, builds, and maintains integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, TRUX, Azure SQL, Databricks, NICE CXOne, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Develops and supports Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs.
• Implements and manages API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), SFTP file transfers, and event-based messaging via middleware (e.g., Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, or Power Automate).
• Collaborates with internal development and data teams to align integration logic with the company’s snowflake data lake and analytics platform.
• Ensures integration designs comply with Coastal’s security, privacy, and data governance standards.
• Manages authentication and authorization via OAuth2, SAML, Entra ID, and API gateways.
• Documents integration data flows, dependencies, and SLAs; maintain an integration catalog.
• Collaborates with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams on secure design, certificates, and encryption.
• Monitors integrations for performance, reliability, and data accuracy.
• Proactively resolves integration failures, data mismatches, and system errors.
• Identifies automation opportunities to eliminate manual processes and reduce data entry.
• Work closely with Platform Owners (HR/Finance, Sales, CX, Data) to understand new business needs and prioritize integration initiatives.
• Participates in enterprise architecture reviews and system upgrade planning.\
• Provides technical consultation during vendor evaluations and M&A system integrations.
• Sets up, manages, and maintains user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other business-critical systems.
• Provides first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in systems integration or enterprise application engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Workday integration tools.
• Proficiency with Workday integration tools (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors)
• Strong understanding of APIs, web services, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and SFTP
• Hands-on experience with middleware/iPaaS (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Workato, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of SQL and data structures; familiarity with Azure SQL or Databricks a plus.
• Experience managing integrations with HR, Payroll, Finance, or CRM systems
