Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) – Orthopedics (Shoulder & Elbow)

Coastal Orthopedics is seeking a skilled and compassionate ARNP to join our Shoulder & Elbow specialty team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians in both clinic and surgical settings, providing high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the full treatment journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations, including comprehensive histories and physical exams (new, established, pre-op, post-op)
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies
- Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Provide pre-operative optimization and post-operative follow-up care
- Assist in the operating room as appropriate (based on training, experience, and facility protocols)
- Perform inpatient rounds, consults, and discharge planning
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Florida regulations and organizational policies
- Monitor post-operative recovery, including wound care, DME coordination, and therapy referrals
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Participate in call rotation (1–2 weeks per month)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program
- Active Florida ARNP license (required)
- National board certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP)
- Minimum 1 year of ARNP experience (orthopedic experience preferred)
- Experience in orthopedic, hospital, or outpatient settings preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
