What You'll Do:
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments as requested by the Physical Therapist; hot packs; cold packs; exercise equipment set-up.
- Assist therapists in selected procedures by checking patient and equipment during treatment for both comfort and safety.
- Report patient reactions to supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist in maintaining patient treatment schedules consistent with the needs of the department.
- Performs housekeeping duties of the department by routine cleaning, laundry, maintenance and care of department equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for protecting confidential information; economic use of time, equipment, and supplies; safety and welfare of patients and other employees.
What Your Qualifications Should Be:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
