Extrusion line worker

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Technician with a mechanical background and hands-on experience in plastics and acrylic manufacturing. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and execute extrusion production processes
• Operate and monitor quality assurance equipment
• Read and interpret production schedules and product specifications
• Ensure products meet quality and customer requirements
• Perform material handling, including peeling and grinding returns
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Complete assigned tasks and support continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation and understand quality system requirements
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience as an Extrusion Technician or similar role
• Experience working with plastics and acrylic materials
• Strong mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, machinery, equipment operation)
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, multiplication, division)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong attendance and consistent work history
• Leadership ability and self-motivation
• Professional and composed demeanor
  
  

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and noise
• Fast-paced setting requiring independence and efficiency
• Ability to perform physical tasks and handle materials
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts (day and night)
• Availability to work at least two weekends per month
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
  
  

Rotating 12-hour shifts: 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM.

Employees work one weekend and have the following weekend off.
