CLX Engineering is looking for a proactive, people-focused HR Generalist who genuinely enjoys the HR field and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. If you love recruiting, sourcing great talent, keeping HR operations running smoothly, and supporting a positive employee experience, this role is for you. You’ll partner closely with HR director–level leadership and teams across the company to shape onboarding, support employees, and keep our core HR processes sharp and compliant. While you’ll have the chance to grow across all areas of HR, you’ll start by owning recruiting, sourcing, and HR administration. This is a full-time, exempt role within Human Resources—no payroll or accounting background required.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and select candidates; manage the full recruiting lifecycle from requisition to offer.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and support managers in defining talent needs.
- Maintain applicant and employee records; manage personnel files, HRIS data, and HR reporting/metrics.
- Monitor benefit eligibility and support enrollments, changes, and related documentation.
- Support processing of leaves of absence (e.g., FMLA) and employment status changes as needed.
- Interpret and apply HR policies; ensure consistent understanding across the organization.
- Provide employee relations support, including coaching, issue resolution, and participation in investigations.
- Collaborate with HR teammates on compliance, training initiatives, and continuous process improvement.
- Demonstrate core competencies: action-oriented, change-ready, customer-focused, committed to development, and strong ownership.
- Conduct HR data audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Perform additional HR tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements

Required
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, including recruiting and sourcing responsibility.
- Full-cycle recruiting capability: sourcing, screening, manager partnership, and extending offers.
- Ability to accept direction, support decisions, and help move teams forward cohesively.
- Resilience and the ability to manage pressure and setbacks professionally.
- Strong HR administration and compliance experience, including accurate record keeping.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems; comfort with technology and HR metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within HR.
- Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
- High integrity, confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and teamwork orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word and Excel).
- Precise, accurate data management and experience handling confidential information.
