CLX Engineering is looking for a dependable, service-oriented Operations Support Specialist who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be the person our team trusts to keep the office operating efficiently day in and day out. Whether coordinating travel, supporting meetings, or keeping the workspace sharp and well-stocked, you approach your work with professionalism, consistency, and a genuine sense of ownership.
This is a full-time hourly role. Candidates must be within commuting distance of our Sanford, FL office; relocation is not available.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics for leadership and sales teams.
- Administrative & Tech Support: Use Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel) for scheduling, data entry, and light reporting.
- Office Readiness: Keep shared spaces — reception, conference rooms, and kitchen — organized, tidy, and guest-ready between janitorial visits.
- Supplies & Inventory: Manage office, kitchen, and breakroom supplies with attention to detail and timely replenishment.
- Mail & Shipping: Oversee incoming and outgoing mail and handle occasional local courier drop-offs.
- Meeting & Event Support: Assist with on-site meetings, team gatherings, and event logistics.
- Cross-Team Support: Provide administrative help across departments, including calendars, documents, and special projects.
- Accounts Payable Support (limited scope):
- Process and code vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
- Match invoices to purchase orders or required approvals
- While this role includes limited Accounts Payable responsibilities, the primary focus remains on office operations and administrative support.

Requirements
- 3-8 years in an administrative, office coordination, or support role
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel). Exposure to newer Microsoft tools such as Loop, Lists, and Planner is a plus.
- Quick to learn new software and processes
- Consistent, dependable, and professional in interaction and presentation
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational instincts
- Communicates clearly, proactively, and respectfully
