Clutch is looking for a Medical Director with pharmaceutical advertising agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities

• Assess department workflow for efficient resource allocation.
• Mentor and lead personnel.
• Develop clinical content while maintaining scientific integrity.
• Communicate complex medical concepts clearly.
• Oversee content development for various media and projects.
• Collaborate with clients and support diverse projects.
• Ensure data accuracy for new business initiatives.
• Drive strategic medical contributions and communications.
• Conceptualize innovative initiatives for promotional and product strategy.
• Take responsibility for tactical communication activities.
• Maintain scientific accuracy and relevance in all materials.
• Present and defend content and strategy to client review committees.
• Generate strategically sound project ideas and proactively support clients.
• Direct and support internal and external Medical Writers.
• Attend professional meetings, congresses, and advisory board meetings.
  
  

Requirements

• An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) in a relevant field strongly preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in medical content development role.
• Must have Pharmaceutical Advertising or Marketing Agency experience. REQUIRED.
• Showcase proven leadership in diverse activities, including advertising campaigns and educational initiatives.
• Previous experience with new business and launches required.
• Have proficiency in medical literature analysis and the ability to effectively leverage information for promotional claims.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare and regulatory environment.
