Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Physician Clinical Duties:
- Physician serves as the attending physician for the residents residing at each facility;
- The physician collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care.
- Physician will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs;
- Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
- Physician Administrative Duties:
- Provide guidance to nurse practitioners and physician assistants, including performance evaluations and training
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to optimize patient workflow and care
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic goals and growth
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new clinical staff
- Act as a liaison between the medical staff, administrative staff, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct chart reviews and audits, as needed, for quality assurance and adherence to the standard of care.
Compensation and Incentives
- Starting base salary from $250,000-$300,000/year

Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine
- Geriatrics sub-specialization is preferred
- State medical license and DEA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
