ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Ensures accuracy on all data entry.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Balances labor and assists with payroll processing.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Assists employees with questions relative to standard policies, benefits, beneficiary changes, etc
- Assists with benefits administration and reconciles the monthly benefit invoices.
- Assists with new hire on-boarding and orientation.
- Review employment-related paperwork to ensure proper completion, obtain necessary supporting documents and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Company policies.
- Oversees employee badge maintenance.
- Maintains Client reports and employee listings.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment and luncheons.
- Updates and posts employee birthday calendars.
- Assists with tracking mandatory and non-mandatory training.
- Assists with Short-term disability administration.
- Follows and assists with implementation of quality policies and procedures defined in the Quality Policy Manual (QPM) as well as other Company initiated guidelines.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of HR processes
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and grow in HR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of administrative support experience in human resources or related field
- Proficient in the use of desktop computers and applications including Microsoft Applications
- Must be reliable and dependable in attendance
- Applicants with prior manufacturing or industrial environment experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates must be comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and collaborating closely with production teams
Schedule & Pay
- Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 7:30AM–4:30PM
- Pay: $22/hr

Location Advantage
Job is commutable from Decatur, Huntsville, Madison, AL and Athens
