About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and maintain our Quality Management System within a high-precision machining environment serving the Aerospace and Medical Device industries. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for quality systems, audits, inspections, customer quality support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Lead internal audits and manage document control processes
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP activities
- Lead CAPA investigations and root cause analysis efforts
- Serve as the primary contact for customer and supplier quality issues
- Supervise, mentor, and develop quality inspectors and technicians
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and rework
- Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 5 years of Quality Management experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Experience in Aerospace, Medical Device, Precision Machining, or Industrial Manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, FAI, PPAP, and audits
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Compensation & Benefits
