We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead quality operations within a precision machining environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, leading audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing customer and supplier quality activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve ISO 9001 / AS9100 compliant QMS
- Lead internal audits and document control processes
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Support FAI and PPAP activities
- Lead CAPA and root cause analysis investigations
- Serve as primary contact for customer and supplier quality issues
- Supervise and mentor quality staff
- Drive quality improvements and reduce scrap/rework
Requirements:
- Quality leadership experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Experience with audits, CAPA, and root cause analysis
- Background in aerospace, medical device, or precision machining environments
- Strong leadership and continuous improvement skills
