Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct all nursing service activities to ensure the highest standards of care for residents.
- Provide leadership and professional development to nursing staff through structured in-service education and training.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times.
- Evaluate and improve nursing care practices to ensure optimal quality and efficient utilization of resources.
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between administrator, nursing staff, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that prioritizes the dignity, rights, and well-being of all residents.
- Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with other members of the leadership team.
- Other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license within state of practice
- Bachelor’s (BSN) degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Compensation and Schedule:
- Pay rate starting at $52 per hour but can be more based on education and years of experience
- Comprehensive benefits plan
- Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
