Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is seeking a Director of Nursing to join our partner’s skilled nursing team in Aurora, OH. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality resident care while supporting staff development and operational excellence.
Job Summary
The Director of Nursing will oversee the overall operations of the nursing department within a skilled nursing setting. This leader will ensure high standards of clinical care, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a supportive environment focused on resident-centered care and staff engagement. The role works closely with administrative leadership to promote quality outcomes, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in nursing services.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience, skills, and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of daily nursing department operations in a skilled nursing environment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and internal policies.
- Recruit, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional growth and high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement clinical initiatives, policies, and quality improvement strategies.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction metrics.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Utilize electronic health records and clinical systems to support accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory nursing experience, preferably within skilled nursing or long-term care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Experience working with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
