Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive enrollment growth across the assigned region. This leader will oversee B2B and B2C sales efforts, manage and mentor a team of outreach and sales professionals, and collaborate with operational, clinical, and executive leadership to expand referral partnerships and strengthen market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies that drive enrollment growth and expand referral partnerships
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including operations, clinical, finance, and compliance teams
- Lead and manage a regional sales team, including performance management, coaching, and professional development
- Create and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans aligned with organizational growth goals
- Analyze market opportunities and referral channels to identify and expand high-value partnerships
- Track and forecast sales performance through CRM systems and KPI reporting to leadership
- Monitor the sales pipeline to ensure strong lead conversion and sustainable enrollment growth
- Mentor Outreach Specialists on best practices, relationship development, and sales strategies
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing sales culture that supports team engagement and organizational growth
- Represent the organization with referral partners and community stakeholders to build regional brand awareness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited institution
- 11 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 5 years leading sales teams and achieving business growth targets
- Demonstrated success managing sales teams across multiple locations or territories
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools (such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar platforms)
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related graduate degree
- Experience within aging services, healthcare, or long-term care industries
- Background in Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, or Commercial Health Plan sales
Position Overview:
- Location: Philadelphia, PA (approximately 50% of time onsite in downtown Philadelphia)
- Travel: Up to 50% regional travel with 10–20% overnight travel
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: $136,000 – $177,400 annually plus commission opportunity
