Duties:
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
- Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and care.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical records management.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
- Use dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Ensure compliance with all medical and dental regulations including HIPAA standards for patient privacy.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting with a focus on general dentistry.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience treating pediatric patients preferred.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge for accurate diagnosis.
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and patient care procedures.
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control standards and aseptic techniques in clinical practice.
Pay: $195,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
