Position Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Title Clerk to support our dealership operations by ensuring all vehicle title and registration work is processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with state regulations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong automotive dealership experience who can manage high-volume title work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vehicle titles and registrations for new and used vehicle sales
- Ensure compliance with state DMV regulations for Missouri and Illinois
- Prepare, submit, and track title and registration paperwork
- Handle lien recordings, releases, and title corrections
- Coordinate with lenders, auction partners, and internal departments
- Monitor title schedules and resolve title issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support audits and ensure all files are complete and compliant
Qualifications
- Automotive dealership title clerk experience required
- Strong knowledge of DMV processes and title regulations
- Experience handling high-volume title work
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dealership DMS and title processing systems
