Primary Purpose
The Technology Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing components of the organization's IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure cloud services, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Active Directory, Google Workspace, and related technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of system security, network infrastructure, data management, and user lifecycle management. The administrator will leverage their expertise in Microsoft technologies and Google Workspace to implement and maintain best practices for system administration, security, compliance, and user support. Additionally, the administrator will ensure compliance with industry regulations and develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of system failures or outages.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or three years of experience.
- Applicable industry certifications.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in systems administration, IT operations, or a similar technical role.
- Microsoft Entra: Direct experience managing directory objects, groups, SSO integrations, and Conditional Access policies.
- Microsoft Intune: Proven experience deploying and maintaining MDM profiles, OS patch management, and application deployments.
- Google Admin: Hands-on experience managing Google Workspace OUs, core services, security settings, and user provisioning.
- Networking Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of network architecture, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and VPN configurations.
- Scripting Capabilities: Basic proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Google Apps Script/GAM).
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills for complex endpoint, identity, and connectivity issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Identity & Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID):
- Manage identity lifecycles (user onboarding/offboarding, role-based access, group permissions) in Microsoft Entra ID.
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access rules to secure company resources.
- Monitor access logs, audit role assignments, and ensure compliance with identity security practices.
- Endpoint Management (Microsoft Intune):
- Oversee endpoint deployment, mobile device management (MDM), and application policy management across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
- Configure compliance policies, app deployment packages, patch management schedules, and device configuration profiles.
- Automate device enrollment processes using Windows Autopilot and zero-touch workflows.
- Workspace Administration (Google Admin):
- Administer Google Workspace services, including Organizational Units (OUs), Gmail, Drive, and administrative controls.
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access rules to secure company resources.
- Enforce security baselines, external sharing limits, data loss prevention (DLP) rules, and app access controls.
- Manage domain routing, email delivery protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and Workspace user licenses.
- Core Networking & Infrastructure:
- Maintain and troubleshoot fundamental network services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs).
- Diagnose hardware, Wi-Fi access point, switch, and local connectivity issues for both on-site and remote employees.
- Monitor network health, basic firewall rules, and perimeter security.
- Operations & Support:
- Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation support for complex technical issues submitted through the ticketing queue.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, workflows, and operational policies.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of rules, regulations, and practices.
- Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor and/or Superintendent.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
