Job Summary
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling hydraulic components and systems according to company specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble hydraulic components, filters, valves, and systems according to blueprints and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assemblies
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Report defects, material shortages, or equipment issues to supervisor
- Meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 30–50 lbs. as needed
- Perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms
- Good hand-eye coordination
Work Environment
- Manufacturing / warehouse setting
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial equipment
- May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
