What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Warehouse Associate position at ClearStaff, Inc.?
Clear Staff is helping a client who is looking for warehouse associates for 1st shift in the Burr Ridge area.
Payrate :$18.00-19.00/hr.
Hours: 5:30am-2pm Mon through Friday. (Some Flexibility required with the schedule)
!!Some OT is required but based on production needs!!
Bilingual Spanish & English strongly preferred
Skills:
- Being able lift 50lbs , heavy lifting required
- cross training in shipping, returns, picking and packing
- Fast learner on warehouse management systems
- Having a basic understanding of math for inventory and reports
- Working well under pressure and in team environments
- Being comfortable communicating with new people and supervisors
- Thinking on your feet and responding quickly if problems arise
- Detail-oriented and accuracy
- Processing returns and verifying customer information
- Uses basic computer skills to locate customer accounts and orders and update data
Besides these skills, some (but not all) employers may require other qualifications, such as:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working in a warehouse
- Basic Computer skills
