Machine Operator

Job description:

ClearStaff In Villa Park is in need of candidates with machine operating experience for our client located in Carol Stream, IL.

Schedule:

THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 2-3 WEEKS BEFORE MOVING TO 3RD

TRAINING HOURS ARE 6AM-2PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY @ $19.00/HR

• 2nd shift: 2PM-10PM Monday to Friday @ $20.00/hr
• 3rd shift: 10PM-6AM Monday to Friday @ $21.50/hr

OVERTIME OFFERED AS NEEDED.

Job Description:

• works in a manufacturing environment, operating machinery to cut large rolls or sheets of material, such as plastic, cardboard, or paper rolls into narrower, custom-sized strips
• Loading materials into equipment
• Preforming set-up and shut down of equipment
• maintaining the equipment to ensure production does not stop
• ensuring cuts meet exact specifications
• unload and pack finished product

Requirements:

• Previous experience with heavy machinery(punch press/entry level CNC/ injection molding equipment/slitter equipment/automatic welding/etc.)
• Must be able to work in warehouse environment
• Must be able to work 8-10 hours per day/6 days a week
• Background screening, Drug test , & E-verify required prior to start
