Sanitation Specialist - Hospital Environmental Services

Location: A hospital in Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: 3:00pm–11:30pm

Clean2TheKore is hiring a Sanitation Specialist at a hospital in Chattanooga. You'll handle the safe removal of the hospital's waste and recycling and help keep the hospital clean.

What you'll do

• Collect and transport trash, recycling and regulated medical waste to the right storage areas
• Follow safety rules for medical, hazardous and universal waste
• Keep waste storage areas clean and organized
• Deliver clean linen and remove soiled linen
• Help with general housekeeping duties when needed
• Complete DOT and hazardous-waste training (provided)

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial or healthcare preferred
• Able to push carts and lift up to 50 lbs

Before you start: background check and drug screen required. After that, we'll set up the hospital health screening. You must already have had the standard vaccinations (as a child or adult); the hospital gives boosters but not first-time shots.
