Location: A hospital in Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: 3:00pm–11:30pm
Clean2TheKore is hiring a Floor Specialist at a hospital in Chattanooga. You'll take care of the floors and carpet throughout the hospital and help with general housekeeping when needed.
What you'll do
- Dust mop, mop, strip, refinish and burnish hard floors
- Clean carpet using vacuums and carpet extractors
- Run floor equipment like burnishers, scrubbers, wet vacs and iMop
- Use floor chemicals and pads the right way, with proper PPE
- Put out wet floor signs and other safety signage
- Clean floors in patient rooms, offices, hallways and public restrooms
- Follow a daily, weekly and monthly floor care schedule
- Clean floor equipment and report any equipment problems
- Help with general housekeeping duties when needed
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of experience caring for hard (resilient) floors preferred
Before you start: background check and drug screen required. After that, we'll set up the hospital health screening. You must already have had the standard vaccinations (as a child or adult); the hospital gives boosters but not first-time shots.
