Clayton Services is searching for a Dehumidification Sales Engineer to join an innovative and growing organization focused on industrial climate control solutions. The Dehumidification Sales Engineer will be responsible for building a market presence, developing new client relationships, and driving revenue for dehumidification and air handling solutions across the U.S.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role. The Dehumidification Sales Engineer will help define the go-to-market strategy and establish the company as a competitive provider in a niche and technical space.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $120,000 – $180,000 base commission (OTE $180K – $350K )

Dehumidification Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow market share in dehumidification and climate control solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and engineering-driven projects
- Build relationships with plant engineers, specifying engineers, contractors, and decision makers
- Provide technical guidance and recommend customized equipment and system solutions
- Support the full sales cycle including prospecting, proposals, presentations, and closing
- Serve as a subject matter expert on dehumidification, air handling, and climate control systems
- Collaborate with internal teams on product development, pricing, and solution design
- Support marketing efforts including technical content, product positioning, and customer education
- Travel as needed to develop business across key regions
Dehumidification Sales Engineer Skills and Abilities:
- Strong combination of technical knowledge and business development ability
- Ability to communicate complex HVAC and dehumidification solutions to technical audiences
- Experience calling on engineers, contractors, or industrial clients
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a new market
- Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills
Dehumidification Sales Engineer Education and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, applications engineering, or technical sales
- Experience with air handling units, dehumidification, or climate control solutions preferred
- Experience with manufacturers or rep firms strongly preferred
- Desiccant experience is a plus but not required
