Clayton Services is hiring a Light Industrial / Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our growing Houston team.

Light Industrial / Skilled Trades Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for high-volume and skilled roles across the Houston market
- Recruit for positions including warehouse associates, forklift operators, assemblers, electricians, panel builders, machinists, and technicians
- Turn job orders into placements quickly by delivering qualified candidates with urgency
- Build and maintain strong pipelines using LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, referrals, and direct sourcing
- Conduct effective phone screens and interviews to assess technical ability, reliability, and culture fit
- Partner daily with sales to prioritize openings and stay aligned on client needs
- Manage candidate relationships from first contact through placement and redeployment
- Track activity, submittals, and placements within ATS
- Hit weekly performance metrics (calls, submittals, interviews, placements)
- Stay on top of Houston hiring trends, competitor activity, and talent movement
- Other duties as assigned
Light Industrial / Skilled Trades Recruiter Skills and Abilities:
- Proven success in a fast-paced, high-volume staffing environment
- Strong sense of urgency, you don’t let jobs sit
- Competitive, driven, and motivated by placements and commissions
- Ability to evaluate candidates in manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades settings
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Self-starter mentality with accountability for results
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Light Industrial / Skilled Trades Recruiter Education and Experience:
- 1 years of high-volume recruiting experience required
- Direct experience recruiting light industrial or skilled trades roles required
- Strong knowledge of the Houston market and talent landscape preferred
- Experience with ATS systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
