Recruiter

Clayton Services is seeking an ambitious Recruiter to join our growing Houston team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or an experienced professional looking to launch a rewarding career in recruiting and staffing.

No recruiting experience is required. As a Recruiter, you'll play an important role in both by partnering with candidates throughout their job search and helping local businesses build strong teams.

Recruiter Responsibilities:

• Source and identify qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, social media, and other recruiting resources.
• Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, career goals, and cultural fit.
• Build lasting relationships with candidates and serve as a trusted career advisor throughout the hiring process.
• Match qualified professionals with career opportunities that align with their experience and long-term goals.
• Prepare and present qualified candidates to clients with detailed interview summaries and recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews, communicate feedback, negotiate offers, and assist candidates through the onboarding process.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across a variety of industries.
• Learn each client's business, hiring priorities, and company culture to consistently deliver exceptional candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet recruiting goals while delivering outstanding service to both clients and candidates.
• Continuously develop recruiting, interviewing, sales, and business development skills through coaching and ongoing training.

• Coachable with a genuine desire to learn and continuously improve.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using LinkedIn, CRM, ATS, or recruiting software is a plus.

Recruiter Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail management, business development, account management, or other relationship-focused roles is highly desirable.
• Prior recruiting or staffing experience is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated success through academics, athletics, leadership roles, internships, work experience, or extracurricular activities is preferred.
