Position: Advanced CNC Programmer

Location: Mobile, AL

Pay: $125,000/year

Experience: Proven experience programming multi-axis CNC machines (5-axis) and gear machining.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.

Type: Full-time; DirectHire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Clark Personnel is seeking an Advanced CNC Programmer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Program multi-axis (5-axis) CNC machines for complex parts and tooling.
• Create CNC programs from blueprints, CAD files, and reverse-engineered parts.
• Optimize toolpaths, cutting tool selection, and feed/speed adjustments for machining efficiency.
• Perform gear machining programming for spur, helical, worm, bevel, and spline gears.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines and program discrepancies.
• Interpret CAD files and technical drawings for accurate machine setups.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to refine machining processes.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of tooling, setups, feeds, and speeds.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC setup procedures.
• Attention to detail for precision machining.
• Problem-solving and adaptability skills.
• Prior hands-on machining or setup experience highly valued.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
