Clark Personnel is seeking a Substance Abuse Therapist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Conduct assessments and ASAM-based evaluations to determine eligibility and treatment needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized substance abuse treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices.
- Diagnose substance use disorders and identify co-occurring risks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams and external referral sources.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state guidelines.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care services.
- Current, unrestricted professional licensure in the State of Alabama (e.g., LPC, LICSW, LMFT).
- Substance abuse counselor certification or ability to obtain within 30 months of hire.
- Knowledge of case management and outpatient substance abuse treatment services.
- Strong clinical assessment, analytical, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse populations.
