Job Description
- Lead palletization operations in accordance with tally sheets, SKU accuracy, and customer quality standards
- Ensure freight is palletized safely, securely, and efficiently to prevent damage or load instability
- Supervise team productivity and track performance against KPIs (time, quality, throughput, compliance)
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory counts, tally sheets, and operational reports
- Communicate consistently with the home office throughout container unloading operations
- Support camera/data capture operations during unloading activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety guidelines, customer requirements, and company policies
- Identify and report damaged freight, shortages, overages, or operational issues promptly
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices (PPE, lifting techniques, hazard awareness, heat safety)
- Ability to read and follow tally sheets and shipping documentation accurately
- High attention to detail with a strong quality control mindset
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled warehouse/container conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours based on container schedules
