Education Department - Temporary Full Time or Temporary Part Time Pool 2018-2022

Candidates for undergraduate faculty temporary positions must hold a Masters’ degree. Expertise for undergraduate positions is needed in the areas of early childhood education, educational psychology, English language learner education, mathematics education, reading and language arts education, science education, and teacher supervision. Completion of a successful interview is required.

Candidates for graduate faculty temporary positions must hold terminal degrees in Curriculum and Instruction or a related area. Graduate expertise is needed in areas of assessment, early childhood, curriculum, teacher leadership and technology.

All candidates may be required to complete Clarion University’s online courseware training prior to the start of the course if they are hired to teach a distance education (online or blended format) course.

Candidates with teaching certification, three years classroom and online teaching experience, and higher education teaching experience are preferred for all positions.

The College of Arts and Sciences at Clarion University is seeking to expand the current temporary faculty pool to teach various undergraduate courses for the (first AY), (second AY), and (third AY) academic years. Applicants in previous pools will have to reapply to be considered. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding.
