Nursing Department, Temporary Full-Time or Temporary Part-Time Pool, 2019 - 2022 Somerset

Master of Science in Nursing is required to teach all didactic and laboratory courses. A Master of Science in Nursing is preferred for clinical courses, but applicants with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minimum of three years experience as a registered nurse and a plan for completing a MSN degree within 5 years will be considered.

Applicants must complete a successful interview.

Experienced faculty in the area of medical- surgical nursing is preferred. As the program develops, additional faculty will be required with specialty areas such as behavioral health, maternal health, and pediatrics.

The College of Arts and Sciences at Clarion University is seeking to expand the current temporary faculty pool to teach various undergraduate courses for the (first AY), (second AY), and (third AY) academic years. Applicants in previous pools will have to reapply to be considered. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding.
