Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services.
- Manage reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures confidently to ensure guest safety and operational continuity during overnight hours.
- Maintain clear communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs and facility issues efficiently.
- Document shift activities thoroughly through detailed reports, incident logs, and guest interaction records to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to enhance guest communication and relations.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS).
- Knowledge of hotel management procedures, including night audit processes and hotel emergency protocols.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively in a hospitality environment.
- Strong phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries over the phone.
- Experience working in resort environments or properties with extensive guest relations needs is a plus.
