What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate Attorney position at Claddagh Resources?
Litigation Associate Attorney — North Atlanta / Roswell, GA (In-Person)
I'm working with a well-established civil litigation practice in the North Atlanta area that's adding a litigation associate. This is a hands-on role with real case ownership and a clear path to grow into more complex work over time.
The core of the practice is insurance defense, with exposure to commercial and real estate litigation as you develop. You won't be boxed into one task — you'll work the full litigation lifecycle: answers, case evaluation reports, discovery, working with adjusters and experts, depositions, motions practice, and trial work. Responsibility expands as you demonstrate readiness.
This is a firm for someone who treats law as a profession, not a 9-to-5 — in the office and ready to go each morning, and willing to put in the hours when a filing deadline demands it. In return: autonomy, strong mentorship, and room to build a genuine litigation career.
What we're looking for
- 1–5 years of civil litigation experience (defense-side insurance defense strongly preferred)
- Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia (required)
- J.D. and Bachelor's degree
- Well-versed in the Georgia Civil Practice Act
- Strong writer and legal researcher; organized, punctual, professional
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Clio, and PDF software
- Trial experience and/or commercial or real estate litigation exposure a plus
Location
- Full-time, in-person role in the Roswell / North Atlanta area. Candidates must be local or within an easy daily commute. No remote, no relocation.
Compensation & benefits
- Up to $130,000 base, plus performance-based bonus
- Unlimited PTO; health, dental, and vision; HSA; 401(k) with matching; life insurance
- CLE reimbursement and annual State Bar of Georgia dues covered
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
