A globally recognized IT and consulting firm is hiring two specialized Business Development Managers within its IoT & Digital Engineering practice. These are distinct, highly technical BD roles — one in semiconductor engineering services, one in geospatial information systems.
Role 1 — BDM, VLSI / Semiconductor Engineering Services | $163,800–$200,000
You will drive new business for chip design and semiconductor engineering services across North America. Target clients include fabless semiconductor companies, chip manufacturers, and OEMs requiring end-to-end VLSI services spanning RTL design, verification, physical design, DFT, and embedded firmware. The ideal candidate has sold engineering services — not EDA software or IP licensing — into names like Qualcomm, Broadcom, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or Apple Silicon teams, and understands the full chip development lifecycle.
Role 2 — BDM, GIS / Geospatial Information Systems | $109,200–$150,000
You will develop new business for geospatial and location intelligence services across industries including utilities, telecom, transportation, government, and natural resources. Services span GIS platform implementation, spatial data engineering, mapping, and location analytics. The ideal candidate has sold GIS or geospatial technology services — not pure SaaS — and has established relationships with enterprise clients running Esri, Google Maps Platform, or similar environments.
Across both roles:
- 13 years in IT or engineering services sales, with individual quota ownership
- New logo hunting — pipeline development, proposal shaping, and deal closure
- Measured on Total Contract Value, new logos, and large deal wins
- Ability to engage VP and C-suite stakeholders across engineering, IT, and procurement
- Full-time permanent W2, US-based, client travel expected
