Position Summary
The Executive Senior Account Manager maintains strong relationships with key clients, serves as the main contact for escalated issues, and works with internal teams and carriers to support client needs and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for client inquiries and escalations.
- Build strong relationships with clients, their employees, and insurance carriers.
- Identify and address client needs proactively.
- Oversee all aspects of assigned accounts, including marketing, underwriting, and renewals.
- Manage Fully Insured, Self-Funded, Level Funded, and Captive accounts.
- Review census data, prepare proposals, and analyze plan options.
- Coordinate account implementation, communication, and enrollment materials.
- Conduct employee open enrollment meetings.
- Manage compliance items (5500s, SPDs, PCORI).
- Resolve disputes between employers, employees, and carriers.
- Review contracts and certificates for accuracy.
- Stay current on industry updates and regulations.
- Provide education and support on enrollment platforms.
- Collaborate with Producers, Account Executives, and Support Teams.
- Complete required training, follow agency standards, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred; or high school diploma with 3 years of employee benefits account management experience.
- NH Health & Life license required.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce preferred.
