Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department | Operating Room
Location: Rutherfordton, NC

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an Emergency Department RN who enjoys variety, critical thinking, and providing patient-centered care in a close-knit hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
- Provide age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
- Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans.
- Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes.
- Provide timely emergency care, stabilization, and transition of care.
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced ED environment.
Requirements
- Current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with NC endorsement.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Department required.
