Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative outpatient healthcare team in Kirkland, WA. This opportunity is open to all experience levels, including new graduates. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide individualized patient care, therapeutic exercises, and support treatment plans in a professional and patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the Physical Therapist.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Provide excellent patient support and customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
- Ensure equipment and treatment materials are properly maintained and stocked.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Washington State PTA license.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients of different ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- US work authorization required.
