Position- MRI & CT Technologist
Location- Bisbee & Douglas, AZ
Position Summary
The MRI/CT Technologist performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) procedures. This role is responsible for patient preparation, safe scanner operation, high-quality imaging, and maintaining a compliant, controlled clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Imaging Performance: Operate specialized MRI and CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders.
- Patient Safety: Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., pacemakers, implants) before exposure to strong magnetic fields.
- Patient Care: Position patients, explain procedures to minimize anxiety, and safely administer contrast materials when required.
- Documentation & QA: Maintain accurate medical records, follow ALARA safety standards, and monitor equipment functionality.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent accredited program).
- Experience: 0–2 years of clinical experience; open to newly certified professionals.
