Nature of Work
This limited appointment position serves as the day-to-day marketing lead for Rochester Public Music, responsible for connecting creative strategy to tactical execution through coordinated planning, delegation, and oversight. Reporting directly to the Director of Public Music, the Marketing Manager assures that marketing campaigns are well-planned, executed efficiently, and aligned with City brand standards. The Marketing Manager serves as the key point of contact for internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of all marketing initiatives.
Work Schedule
Fourteen (14) hours per week following a set weekly schedule of onsite work. During event season, hours may include evenings and weekends.
Rate of pay: $32.00 per hour

Duties And Responsibilities
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, arts administration, or a related field and two (2) years of related professional experience
OR
An equivalent combination of education and professional experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

- Plan and coordinate marketing strategies, campaigns, and workflows across programs.
- Coordinate the development, review, and delivery of marketing content and campaigns.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and external partners to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure messaging alignment and brand consistency across marketing materials and programs, including Riverside Concerts, FORWARD, Passport Sessions, and Sound School.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the Rochester Public Music Team
