What You’ll Get To Do
- Lead and participate in the work of technical and administrative personnel in the performance of technical, development review, and permit processing functions and administrative work.
- Engage with the community, including residents, property owners, business owners, and community-based organizations.
- Coordinate various stages of the permitting process.
- Explain the City's processes, codes, and procedures.
- Respond to customer and public inquiries and complaints; explain and interpret codes, policies, standards, fees, and procedures to the public.
- Our Development Services Technician III team leaders may be assigned as the "single point of contact" on high-profile initiatives, requiring public speaking and coordination of multiple city codes as it pertains to that assignment.
- Oversee the processing of applications for permits, inspections, or services; oversee permit issuance.
