Over a million Phoenix-area residents regularly enjoy the City's parks, playgrounds, walking paths, athletic fields and open green spaces.
This position reports to a Contracts Specialist II Lead. It is responsible for supervising the Department's main reception desk, including two customer service reps, and providing administrative support to staff located in City Hall.

Pay Range: $23.74 - $35.08 per hour.
Hiring Range: $23.74 - $31.82 per hour.

Position Job Duties Include And Are Not Limited To
- Managing the Department's main reception desk. Supervising two Customer Service Clerks.
- Maintaining and managing over 600 units of wireless hardware to include cellphones, data cards, etc.
- Overseeing fire and intrusion alarm permits for the Department.
- Serving as the Department's liaison for badging, telecommunications, records retention and facilities requests.
- Manage and maintain Management Service Division's fleet vehicles.
- Managing the surplus property process for the Director's Office and Management Services Division.
- Developing and maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Composing and responding to correspondence.
- Processing facilities work orders and purchasing requests.
- Identifying areas where process improvements can lead to efficiencies.
- Ability to:
- Work with a team to respond to customer service requests both in person and on the phone.
- Produce written documents with clearly organized thoughts.
- Manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Organize and prioritize a heavy workload.
- Communicate verbally with customers on the phone or in person.
- Research and assemble data from a variety of sources.
- Break down complex information into comprehensive parts, ask questions and analyze.
- Knowledge of:
- City of Phoenix processes related to records retention, badging, telecommunications and surplus property.
- Work order and purchasing processes.
Pay Range: $23.74 - $35.08 per hour.
Hiring Range: $23.74 - $31.82 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
- Four years of experience performing clerical duties.
- OR Bachelor's degree in public or business administration or a related field.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
- All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
- Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.
