Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $47,080.00 - $53,806.00. Full Salary Range: $41,600.00 - $73,176.00 Annually

About the Role:
As a Water Accounts Specialist, you will:
Oversee the billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and investigate high or low meter readings, making necessary corrections in the billing system.
- Handle escalated billing issues and customer requests from the Contact Center.
- Process lien letters, leak adjustments, and billing approvals.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex billing problems, including master-sub billing relationships.
- Approve billing transmissions and coordinate with IT staff and vendors for bill printing and mailing.
- Assist customers by negotiating billing disputes, setting up pay arrangements, and processing adjustments.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to multitask.
- The job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- 4 years of advanced customer service experience in a contact center, high call volume professional environment using Utility Billing software systems and/or directly related utility billing or payment processing experience.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience using enQuesta Utility Billing Software
- Sensus Analytics experience
